Mt Abram Employment Opportunities

My Abram, LLC owner of the Mt Abram Resort is dedicated to providing a rewarding work environment. We believe pride in workmanship is an important pathway to customer satisfaction.

We are customarily open mid December to the first weekend of April, Thursday through Sunday and all Holidays and school vacation periods. We are presently looking for eager, qualified individuals for the following positions.

Snow School Coaches (Ski, Snowboard, Telemark, Nordic, Snowshoe, Ice Climbing)
Full and part time positions are available. Responsibilities include coaching both adults and children in learning or approving, alpine sport skills. Must be an intermediate to advanced skier/rider, possess strong communication skills and a have desire to share your passion for outdoor winter sports. No previous experience required, as ongoing training is provided.

Some positions are specific to seasonal programs. If you are energetic, enthusiastic, and have experience with seasonal programs, please let us know. Prior experience with freestyle/freeriding a plus, but not necessary. Training will be provided for promising candidates.

Ski Patrol
Must be an above average skier or rider and be able to work in variable weather conditions. Responsibilities include attending to medical needs of injured guests and staff as well as working with other mountain departments to insure a smooth operation. Certain medical skills are required.

Kitchen Staff
Experienced line cooks, prep chefs, cashiers, wait staff, and bus and bar backs.

Race Gatekeepers
We are always looking for volunteers to help run races. You earn a free lunch and lift ticket voucher to enjoy another day of skiing/riding. Please contact us if this is something of interest to you.

Mountain Operations
Positions available for snowmaking, ski/tubing lift attendants, maintenance, janitorial and shuttle operators.

Volunteer Opportunities
We are pleased to offer volunteer opportunities if you would like to help with customer service, special events, and our race program. If you are interested, please inquire in person or contact us to inquire by email.

Race Worker
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; set up and tear down of race courses; assists in timing race events; must be able to carry 25 pounds or more on skis; outdoor-on hill position; work with Competition and events co-ordinator.
